You have reached The 21.Infanterie Division Living History Group, a non-profit living history group located in the UK. We are a collection of WWII historians and German vehicle enthusiasts that endeavor to keep the memories, sights, sounds, and smells of the late war 1944-1945 period alive.
Along with military historians and WW2 hobbyists, we also have within the society a collection of German wartime vehicle enthusiasts who are extremely active in various restoration projects throughout the year.
Our members are all members of the All Fronts Re-enactment Association (AFRA), which provides benefits such as valid TPPLI and other relevant insurances along with current up to date information and support from the UK home office.
New members are always welcome, and we can provide advice and assistance to help you organise your impression, we even have a group uniform kit-pool to get you involved in your first event at no cost.
We take part in both battle reenactments and private battles involving the use of pyrotechnics, blank firing, replicas, vehicles and props. Event scenarios are written around realistic WW2 historical objectives and themed battles.
we use authentic squad formations, tactics and german commands, period camping is also encouraged to add a sense of realism and really transport the reenactor back into WW2.
Ourgroup holds a monthly meeting, typically at the Bushy Hall Living history Museum. This is usually to check on uniform authenticity prior to an event as well as an opportunity for photography used to promote the group.
We are a group that has many talents and capabilities and our membership is drawn from all walks of life and from all parts of the UK.New Members always welcome and we can loan you a uniform and equipment for your first event!
Although We are nationally based group with experienced reenactors from all over the UK we are fortunate to have a home which is The Lincolnsfields Forties experience Museum,Bushey, Hertfordshire, a unique, hands on, WW2 living history attraction located at the site of the WW2 operational HQ of the USAAF 8th Fighter Command.
